Pugsley's Monster

For this production, we had a few challenges that we wanted to address as playfully and creatively as possible. One of these was the monster under Pugsley's bed. For Pugsley's monster, we wanted to avoid the original "reptile under the bed" but still wanted a large reveal for this moment. I ultimately landed on this enormous, but cute, monster. She is built in three pieces--the head, left claw, and right claw. In the video below, you can see an example of the reveal from an early preview performance.
