My name is Patrick McGuire and I'm a director, educator, artist, and multi-instrumentalist. All of the significant early memories I have of myself revolve around some form of creative expression. I have vivid memories of inventing fantasy worlds and populating them with a life-sized menagerie of 3D construction paper animals. I built elaborate costumes out of cardboard, aluminum foil, and sheets for a church Christmas pageant. In fourth grade, I became obsessed with an old book of plays I found in the school library and insisted that my class perform the version of “Rumpelstiltskin” that I found in the book.
I have always valued opportunities for creative expression and take great joy in sharing that not only with my students, but with friends and strangers as well.
